Hanami Express

The food is decent!! I was surprised that they got such a low score. The dish I ordered is good for airport standard. I ordered chicken rice with scallions. And they served fast.

Suprised at the amount of hate this wee place gets. I was wary of it because reviews were terrible, but they are the same for all other fast food places at YVR. Prices are what you'd expect at a proper sit-down restaurant, sure, but it is at an airport. The mark-up should be expected. I ordered the teriyaki beef rice and actually enjoyed it lots. Generous portions that got me through a 5hr flight no issue and kind staff. Like, the only people to wish me a happy new year in all of Vancouver lol. Make of this review what you will, but I'd suggest trusting your gut. The place was tidy enough and the ladies behind the counter seemed to be having a nice day, so I went for it and loved it!

The food is very decent. Brisket was fresh and not dried. The crispy chicken taste really good. Portion’s good. Price fair for for airport

Nice place to have lunch, the food is good taste and the portion will not disappoint you, flavors are nices combinated and let you choose for a different dishes with the same rice bowl base. The price is not the best, but what can you expect inside an airport?

I really liked sliced beef noodle bowl. The beef and noodle was decent and soup tasted great and it soothed my stomach. I was actually surprised by bad reviews. Only thing is I wish the clerk was friendlier.

I feel I lucked out in getting their Chicken Rice Bowl with scallion oil. Generous rice, hearty tender chicken... I guess they nail the basics. Just don't order the complicated stuff.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I got exactly what I wanted here. The lines at everywhere else nearby were ridiculously long so I went here. I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the food was and how good it was. I appreciated the fact that I got broccoli with my noodles.

The teriyaki is fine
